Associate Degree in Information TechnologyRMIT's 2-year Associate Degree in Information Technology focuses on real-world problems, is project-based, has an active learning approach, and is linked to the current requirements of industry.
Students build foundational knowledge in cyber security, artificial intelligence, programming and data handling, gaining in-demand tech skills, problem-solving abilities, and career flexibility. This associate degree allows students to enter the workforce with relevant skills for today's IT industry, opening doors to roles in government, education, health, tourism, and retail, among other industries and sectors. Alternatively, students could choose to continue on to further study in one of the following degrees. Credit may apply which will reduce the total duration of the chosen destination course.

The Bachelor of Commerce offered by RMIT has a range of majors, including the Marketing Technology major. This major covers key areas including marketing automation, digital marketing, and customer relationship management, equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Students learn about foundational marketing principles, as well as develop essential research skills to plan and implement effective tech-driven strategies. Students can also specialise in areas such as AI in marketing, branding, and customer experience management. With companies increasingly relying on marketing technologies, professionals with these skills are in high demand across various industries.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing Technology can pursue careers as Marketing Technology Specialist, Digital Marketing Assistant, Marketing Analyst, Social Media Manager, SEO/SEM Specialist and Marketing Automation Specialist.
The VCE prerequisites for entry are a study score of at least 25 in English other than EAL; or a study score of at least 27 in English as an Additional Language (EAL). In addition, students should attain a study score of at least 20 in one of Maths: General Mathematics, Maths: Mathematical Methods or Maths: Specialist Mathematics.
