- Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours)
The new Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at Monash University addresses a significant gap in the market for qualified speech pathologists. This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to help with communication and treat eating and drinking disorders. Students will learn alongside other allied health students at the Monash Peninsula Campus who are studying physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and more. This interdisciplinary approach fosters a collaborative learning environment, preparing students for real-world healthcare settings.
The VCE prerequisite subjects are Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 35 in English (EAL) or 30 in English other than EAL, and Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in one of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematical Methods (any) or Specialist Mathematics, Physics, Health and Human Development, or Physical Education.

- Key Medicine Dates for 2027 Entry
Year 12 students are reminded that the selection process for direct entry into medicine at Clayton consists of three equally weighted components:
- ATAR, including adjustment factors, e.g. Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS);
- UCAT ANZ (University Clinical Aptitude Test for Australia and New Zealand) total score; and,
- Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) performance.
On Friday, 2 October 2026 all VTAC applicants will receive an email from the Faculty outlining the application process and instructions to apply for the Dean’s Rural List (DRL).
This will be sent to the email used in the VTAC application. Should students not have received an email by 5pm, they are advised to check their spam/junk folder before contacting Monash. Applications for the DRL will close at 12pm (midday) Friday, 9 October 2026 (Melbourne local time).
There will be a number of rounds of interviews.
First round interviews for the Dean's Rural List (DRL)Open to any student who qualifies for the DRL.
Selection for interview is based on UCAT ANZ total score only.
Interviews will be held on Zoom on Tuesday 1 & Wednesday 2 December 2026.
Invitations will be released on the afternoon of Monday 12 October 2026.

First round interviews for Victorian-based students who are not on the DRL
Selection for an interview will be based on UCAT ANZ total score only.
Interviews will be held on Zoom on Tuesday 8 & Wednesday 9 December 2026.
Invitations will be released on Wednesday 14 October 2026.

Second round interviews for Victorian students, and any student, regardless of location, who qualifies for the Dean's Rural List (DRL).
Selection for interview is based on an equally weighted combination of ATAR aggregate (including adjustment factors) and UCAT ANZ total score. Interviews will be held on Zoom on Monday 4 & Tuesday 5 January 2027.
Invitations will be released on Monday 21 December 2026.
Third round interviews for Interstate Year 12 students only Selection for interview will be based on based on an equally weighted combination of ATAR aggregate (including adjustment factors) and UCAT ANZ total score.
Interviews will be held on Zoom on Monday 18 January & Tuesday 19 January 2027.
Invitations will be released on Friday 15 January 2027.
