Northern Schools Lamb Competition 5 May

THS celebrated an outstanding day at the Northern Schools Prime Lamb Competition in Armidale. The school proudly took first place in the single lamb category, competing against 14 schools from the NE/NW region with a total of 130 lambs.

Additionally, THS earned first and second places in the pen of three for the lightweight category, featuring Charolais cross lambs bred by the McCowen family. In the heavyweight category, THS secured first, second, and fourth places with lambs bred by the school!

THS was awarded the reserve and champion lightweight pen of three, as well as the champion and reserve heavyweight accolades. To cap it off, THS also claimed the champion lamb of the show on the hook.

Congratulations to our junior judges:

A big shoutout to our students and the dedicated Ag team: Mr Jones, Ms Parker, and Mr Pitkin!
