House Matters

We are thrilled to share the final result of our collaborative art piece that was lovingly created by the students at DPS and put together by Mrs Maskell. It's proudly on display in the main building opposite the staffroom.

What is House Matters?

House Matters is an initiative that was introduced at Donvale in 2023. The program was designed to strengthen connections across the school by bringing together students from different year levels and helping them build relationships with a wider range of students and staff. 

Each House includes three House Matters groups, made up of students from Prep to Year 6 and led by a dedicated teacher. Where possible, siblings are placed in the same group. Our goal is for these groups to meet at least once each term, providing opportunities to build strong, multi-age connections across the school.
