Caulfield District Athletics Carnival
Fifty CSPS students represented our school at the recent Caulfield and District Athletics Carnival. All students competed with enthusiasm and displayed excellent sportsmanship throughout the day. We are proud of their efforts and congratulate those who have now progressed to the Division Athletics which will be held on Thursday 9th October at Duncan McKinnon.

Guest Speaker
A big thank you to Leora Romberg for facilitating a special guest speaker last week. Our students were inspired by Tayla Harris, AFLW player and professional boxer, who shared her journey in elite sport. Students from Year 5 & 6 enjoyed hearing about the resilience, dedication, and passion it takes to succeed at the highest level.
“I enjoyed learning about her sporting background when she was at school and how things are starting to change for females in sport, with more recognition in the media.” Arabella F Y6
“I think she puts in lots of effort towards everything she does. She was inspiring. Tayla talked about a famous photograph taken of herself and how some people on social media were criticising her for simply playing sport. That’s not ok! Her tip in life is to always be kind! It was cool to have someone like her visit our school.” Luca L Y5
