Welcome to our final newsletter for Term 3, and what a whirlwind this term has been! Last week we conducted parent-teacher interviews, a great opportunity for families to check-in again on the progress of their child/ren as we move towards the end of the academic year. We have deliberately spaced our opportunities for feedback out more evenly this year, with the intention of giving our families more accurate and timely information. The feedback on this approach has been positive, and we will continue with this approach in the future.
I would like to echo the congratulations that were shared via Compass yesterday, regarding the wonderful fundraising efforts of our Parents’ Association this term. This included:
I would also like to highlight the ongoing support of our School Council, who continue to support the school to create the best possible environment for all our students.
Term 4 will be a busy one, highlighted by camps for Years 3 and 6, (as well as the extended day for Year 2), the Year 6 exhibition, the 2026 Prep Transition Program, Italian Cultural Day, STEM Day, the Twilight Picnic and, of course, our Year 6 Graduation.
Please ensure you have our two remaining curriculum days (student-free) on your calendar:
These days are of critical importance to our staff, with the first curriculum day dedicated to student assessment, moderation, data collection and reporting, whilst the second day will serve as a planning day for 2026. This ensures our school has thoroughly planned the learning, wellbeing and operational elements required for a positive start to the next school year.
I wish our students, staff and families all the best for a safe and enjoyable school holiday period, as well as a special (and sweet!) happy new year for our families celebrating Rosh Hashanah.
Thanks for your ongoing support and keep doing your best.
