New Adventure – St Augustines News

Term 4 Week 2

Welcome back to Term 4 !! The Holidays flew past and we have hardly caught our breath before the last term of the year has commenced. This is a busy term with lots of information to take in about all our special days and events. We cannot contain our excitement for Wind in the Willows !! All our New adventure team are either helping with production or will be there to watch.

This week and last we have had the children stages their own rehearsals after school and they are amazing !

We had such a great time in Vacation care this spring. We will be adding more albums from the holidays over the next week or so to our private family Facebook page so please join and have a look at the photos of all our wonderful activities.

Some of our best days were the visit to the Dolphin Research Institute and Ballnarring Beach, Clip and Climb and of course Werribee Zoo which was wonderful (if a little wet for the groups that went past the water features!)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Production is of course next Tuesday. If you normally have After School Care on this day AND YOU HAVE NOT LET HEATHER KNOW IF YOU ARE ATTENDING please do so ASAP

PLEASE NOTE : We need to be back at Theatre BY 5PM. If there are any issues with this please speak to HEATHER ASAP. ASC cannot provide transport so you will need to arrange to collect your child by 4:45pm.

WEDNESDAY 18TH OCTOBER

School is closed today. We are running a full day of care for those who need it but bookings will close on Monday night 16/10/2023.

Please book online through Hubhello parent portal if you need care.

What have we been up to in the last two weeks?

Last week we were full of talk about our Beach and Dolphin day at Ballnarring and Hastings. The Children wanted to explore more about the beach so we spent our week (In the rain ) enjoying lots of indoor beach activities ! Lol

This week we have had a real Arts and Crafts focus including paper craft, quilling and origami, Sewing, beads and bracelets and sand in a bottle.
