RU OK? Day

Thursday 14th September 2023

R U OK? Day is a national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone that every day is the day to ask, “Are you OK?” and support those struggling with life's ups and downs. Each class participated in activities and discussions connected to R U OK? Day.

Students also showed their support by wearing a splash of yellow with their uniforms.

Staff were treated to a Kit-Kat and encouraged to have a chit-chat to check-in on their colleagues.

By the end of the learning students will be able to:

  • identify ways to use device settings to protect personal information that identifies them and prevent unwanted contact
  • discuss the benefits of an eSafety family tech agreement
  • develop help-seeking and reporting strategies.

Playground Project

A few of our Grade 6 students have been raising money and investigating an upgrade to some of our senior playground equipment. After Jax and Jaxson put out a survey asking what the students wanted in a playground, Ava, Mackenzie and Jax met with James from Adventure+ to discuss their ideas.  It was very exciting to look through the catalogue for inspiration!
