Junior School
New Student Orientation Morning
Today we enjoyed welcoming our new 2025 TC Junior School students. The Orientation morning was very successful thanks to a number of people who assisted on the day. The students who led tours did an excellent job, as did the boys who were buddies for the new students. We would also like to thank the Year 4 parents and Mrs Cherie Murdoch from the College Auxiliary who helped with the of morning tea. The morning was a very positive experience for our new families to the College.
Our current Year 6 students were able to have a transition morning themselves by spending time in the Senior School. They experienced an array of lessons and activities from the 2025 Head of Year 7, Head of English and Head of Maths. A wonderful event allowing them opportunity to begin the transition prior to the formalised Orientation Day, Monday November 11.
Year 7 Orientation Day
The Year 7 Orientation Day takes place Monday, 11 November. It commences at 8.00am and students are to meet in Centenary Park. Students need to wear their sports uniform with a hat. They are also required to bring a packed lunch & recess, water bottle and basic writing materials. The parent information evening commences at 6.00pm and will take place in the Sports Centre. Further information regarding this day and parent information evening was sent previously.
Languages Week
This past week, the College was transformed as we celebrated Languages Week, thanks to the fantastic efforts of Mr Favotto and Ms Dell’Oro. Their hard work in organising a variety of activities truly made this event special for all students. A highlight for our Year 6 students was the engaging pasta-making session, where they learned to create delicious pasta from scratch. The smiles on their faces said it all! Additionally, students had the opportunity to purchase a refreshing treat from the gelato van, perfect for cooling off during the warm days.
Thank you, Mr Favotto and Ms Dell’Oro, for making Languages Week such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to see what you have in store for next year!
Reminder
Christian Service, ShopFront Appeal
This year for our Christmas Hamper drive, Trinity College will be supporting The Shopfront. The Shopfront is a local aid centre that serves the Perth area’s homeless and vulnerable. You can show some Christmas spirit by donating non-perishable food items, such as tinned food and fruit and Christmas items like fruit mince pies and Christmas cake. Other hamper items include personal cleanliness consumables such as soaps, shampoos, tooth brushing kits and deodorants. Hampers will be in each class.
