From the Principal...

Hi Everyone,
Firstly, thank-you to the amazing students, staff and broader community for their kindness and well wishes for Principal’s Day today. It was lovely to have sooo many students take the time to wish me a happy day. From the cards (and fruit), messages, donuts (donut need too many of those) left on my desk to the high fives, smiles and acknowledgements - thank-you.
As I said to a few of the classes today, I am very grateful and fortunate to be Principal at such a great school with great students and families that makes for a Principal’s Day everyday!
Whilst I don’t enjoy the focus, I am very grateful! Thank-you again!
Welcome Back
We welcome back Sharyn Wanstall from her long service leave. Sharyn returned this week and has been busy catching up to speed on all things MEPS!
Industrial Action
As you may have heard in the media there is a proposed AEU Stop Work action day planned for August 19th. However, this is a changing landscape with a new Premier being recently instated. We await official confirmation of the proposed action and I will communicate as soon as possible on the impacts for MEPS. Hopefully there can be a resolution prior to this date.
Parent/Carer Feedback
Each year we seek feedback from parents and carers about all things MEPS via survey. In the coming weeks you will be provided with a unique link to the survey. All feedback is welcomed as we work together to continue the ongoing improvement journey here at MEPS.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club has been going amazingly well! Every Wednesday in the BER, come one come all! Thanks to our parents and Mrs Roberts for their work and support of this great initiative.
MEET
Our MEET team are continuing their wonderful work in building a sustainable school! More recently continuing their planting and also planning some painting works to complete their new garden. Again, thank-you the parents who have been coming in to support!
