Spatzenschule – Tuesday, 5th of May 2026

Curriculum Day Thursday 7th May

A reminder there is a Curriculum Day scheduled for Thursday 7th May. Students are not required at school.

Battle of the Bands 11th May

We're thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Year 6 "Battle of The Bands." Each Year 6 group is gearing up to participate and compete against one another in this musical showdown. Our talented students have been diligently practising a song, and they'll be showcasing their skills live during the Battle of the Bands. The event is on Monday 11th May at 9:15am outdoors, weather permitting. In the event of unsuitable weather, it will be held in the hall. Parents invited to attend.

April 'Friends with Dignity' PJ  Drive

During April, Toorak Primary School is partnering with the charity 'Friends with Dignity' to support families whom have recently escaped Domestic Violence.

Families often leave domestic violence with little more than the 'shirts on their backs', they face numerous emotional and financial obstacles as they re-build their independence.

This April you can help, purchase a new set of winter PJs and pop it in our Collection Box at the TPS Reception during April. PJ's should be new, either gender and size 0 to 16.

Don't have time to buy PJ's? You can still make a financial contribution and Friends with Dignity can buy them on your behalf.  You can donate directly. Click HERE.

Mother's Day and Significant Other's Stall

On Wednesday 6th May, our annual TPS Mother's Day gift stall will open for our students to purchase a special gift for Mums, Grandmas, and all special people in mind. With a wonderful selection of gifts priced between $2 and $15, there's something for everyone!

Mothers Day Lunch fast Approaching!

Purchase your Mothers Day ticket on QKR today. Tickets are $90 and include canapes, a drink on arrival, a two course lunch and lots of fun!

Grade 6 Friyay! Graduation Fundraiser 

Orders can be placed on Qkr for Donuts, Hedgehog, or Caramel Slice, alternating every Friday for $2. Orders close at 11am each Thursday. All proceeds raised go towards the Grade 6 Graduation.

Toysale - Grade 6 Fundraiser

There will be toys galore at the Grade 6 Toy Sale Fundraiser on Friday 5th June. Toys will be priced between $1 and $20. All classes will attend the sale during the school day.

Help Raise Funds for our New Kiln

As part of our Art Show celebrations later in the year we are inviting families to purchase a quality navy polyester 210 denier long-sleeved art smock for $20 (suitable for children aged 5–10 years). Smocks can be ordered on QkR for $20. Orders close on Friday 12th June 2026. Funds raised will help support the school in purchasing a new kiln for our Art room. Students will decorate their smock with paint pens during a special Art session. Smocks will be kept in the classroom when not in useand will be sent home at the end of the year for washing.

TPS Art Show - Save the Date

Our Art Show will be held on Thursday 10th September. We are currently seeking volunteers to join our set-up crew to help hang and display student artwork on Tuesday 8th September and Wednesday 9th September. If you are available to assist, please email Mrs Reynolds via Compass.
