Caring Learning Growing: Every Child Every Day

 Dear Families,

Welcome back after the holiday break. We hope everyone had a chance to rest and recharge. The start of the term has certainly been a busy one, with so much already happening across the school.

We are very excited to see progress on our building project. The slab has now been laid, and construction work has begun within the school. This is a significant milestone, and we look forward to watching the development take shape over the coming months. As this work continues, we ask for your patience and understanding. Pick-up and drop-off arrangements may change from time to time to ensure everyone’s safety.

We would also like to remind families about the importance of safety during drop-off and pick-up times. Please ensure that all road rules are followed, children are safely supervised, and note that U-turns are not permitted during these busy periods. A reminder that at the end of the day, children will not be permitted to leave until collected by an adult, and they will not be permitted to cross a road without an adult. There is nothing more important to us than keeping our children safe.

A highlight of the past fortnight has been our students’ participation in the Interschool Cross Country event. Our children represented the school with determination, excellent sportsmanship and great pride. We congratulate all who took part and gave their best effort. A sincere thank you to Mrs Horsfall for her organisation and commitment in making the event such a success.

School tours for prospective 2027 Preps are underway. We encourage any current families with children due to start Prep to please return their enrolment paperwork as soon as possible to assist with planning.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank our staff for their exceptional work and adaptability during the recent challenges with limited computer access while we addressed issues relating to unauthorised access. Your professionalism and commitment to student learning during this time have been greatly appreciated. We also extend our gratitude to DOBCEL, particularly the tech team, whose support throughout this process has been immeasurable.

We look forward to all that the term has to offer and can't wait to see how much our children learn and grow.

Louise
