Year 4 Camp
By Nicole Klaassen, Adele Sylvester, Megan Williams, and Afif Whkyes
Camp Jungai was a memorable experience for our Grade 4 students, filled with adventure, teamwork, and learning. The journey began with an exciting bus ride, including a stop at Healesville, before arriving at the beautiful camp surrounded by nature.
Throughout the stay, students participated in a range of activities such as possum pull, orienteering, canoeing, bush walks, bush craft, and team-building initiatives, all designed to build confidence and cooperation.
A highlight of the camp was the cultural session with Aunty, where students gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of Indigenous perspectives. Evenings were full of laughter and bonding, creating lasting friendships and unforgettable memories such as at the Talent Show.
Camp Jungai was a valuable experience that encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones and grow both socially and personally.
