2025 Wrap

Firstly, I would like to congratulate the efforts of all students throughout the entire year. It has been a privilege and honour to be a part of their continued development in both the Health and Physical Education space.

The commitment and dedication each student have shown to their learning is something they can be proud of and a platform for them to continue to build upon going into 2026.

Overall, the year has been a success on many fronts, both in the classroom and through the extra-curricular activities such as Swimming, Cross Country, Athletics, Volleyball, Netball, Hooptime, and Winter and Summer Sport

I look forward to seeing the students return in 2026 in readiness for another big year of learning and opportunities for growth.

Have a wonderful holiday break and a safe new year

State Hooptime

On Thursday 4th and Friday 5th of December our Year 3/4 Boys Future Stars Team and Year 5/6 mixed and girls Future Stars teams represented our school at the State Hooptime Championships.

To say that we are proud of each team achievements would be an understatement.

Our Year 3/4 boys team were able to win two games over the day and walked away with an enjoyable experience which will hopefully drive them to further improve in 2026.

The boys made it to the last twenty teams in the state from a total of 565 teams entered into the tournament. A mighty effort!

Our Year 5/6 girls team made it through to the elimination finals but unfortunately fell short. This team has demonstrated determination and resilience throughout their entire 2025 Hooptime journey. We would like to thank Bree for coaching the team and ensuring the girls had an enjoyable experience. The girls made it down to the last twelve teams in the state from a total of 256. An amazing effort.

Our Year 5/6 mixed teams placed 2nd in the state coming up short in the championship game. The team were exceptional throughout the whole tournament and should be super proud of their efforts over the campaign. Big thanks to Nat for helping coach the team.

To put things into perspective, the mixed competition started out with 717 teams so to make it down to the last two in Victoria is an outstanding achievement.
