MDP Masterclass - Nina Ferro & Friends

MDP members were treated to an extraordinary masterclass on Wednesday, May 8th. Curated by the talented Nina Ferro (who has worked with names such as Tony Bennett, Guy Sebastian, Kate Cebrano, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings and many others) on vocals, alongside some of Melbourne's seasoned rhythm section players including Darryn Farrugia on drums, Gillan Gregory on guitar, Daniel Mougerman on keys, and our very own Mitch Cairns on bass, this exclusive session was nothing short of captivating.

The ensemble delivered an eclectic mix of songs spanning various genres, while also sharing insights into their extensive music industry experience, engaging with students' questions throughout. This intimate setting offers our students a uniquely tailored and educational experience rooted in real-world knowledge. The masterclass was exceptionally well received by all the attending students and staff with many taking the opportunity to get autographs from the visiting musicians!

Exclusive access to these special events is a valued perk for our MDP members and integral to their enrolment experience. We eagerly anticipate bringing more of these enriching occasions to our students in the future.
