National Volunteer Week

Last Friday night the VPC students were invited to a dinner for ‘Volunteer Week’ at Bunjil Place. We were invited in recognition of our involvement in the Casey Meals on Wheels service.  We had the opportunity to mingle with many different people within the volunteering community, as well as chat to representatives from the City of Casey.  The food was delicious, especially the dessert! The entertainment was excellent, with the band keeping us entertained. A highlight was the speeches which recognised the  milestones of some of the volunteers for periods of 15, 20 and 25 years!

It was a great night, we had lots of fun!
