Intermediate Girls Hockey

Well done to our Intermediate Girls Hockey team, who represented Maffra SC at the Gippsland Round! The girls showed great determination, resilience and teamwork throughout the day, working hard in challenging conditions.

Playing in the heat made for a tough day on the field, but the girls continued to run hard, chase every ball and support one another right until the final whistle. Their effort, commitment and willingness to keep pushing themselves were outstanding.

It was fantastic to see the girls display great sportsmanship, team spirit and a never-give-up attitude. They should be extremely proud of their efforts and the way they represented Maffra SC.

Janah Thomas, Ebony Boyle, Isabella McInnes and Krystal Ward showed great leadership with their knowledge and hockey skills. Olivia Sargent was outstanding in defence and denied multiple attempts at scoring working well with Isabella. Mollie Delaney, Mackenzie Laskowski, Maggie Rodda, Evie Dierickx, Chani Aust run the field and showed great teamwork. Nevaeh Loveless was goalie with wonderful reflexes deflecting the ball away from goals.

Congratulations, girls, on a great day of hockey! You should be proud of your hard work, determination and the way you backed each other up in the heat. Well done! 🏑👏
