2026 Theme Reveal: Be Bold, Take Risks
As we reach the halfway point of the term, it is a timely opportunity for students to pause, reflect, and refocus on their goals for the year ahead. With renewed motivation and a clear sense of purpose, the Senior cohort is proud to officially announce the 2026 school theme.
After considerable reflection and discussion, the cohort carefully considered what we want 2026 to represent, not only for ourselves, but for the entire school community. Our aim is to leave a lasting and meaningful impact that extends well beyond our final year. To share the vision behind this decision, we made a short video to introduce the theme and its significance.
The theme is: Be Bold. Take Risks in 2026.
This theme encourages every student to step outside their comfort zone and embrace opportunities that may initially feel intimidating. Importantly, taking risks is not limited to physical challenges. It is not only about leaping from a high platform at camp or conquering a roller coaster that has caused years of hesitation. Rather, it is about the everyday acts of courage that foster personal growth from the inside out.
Being bold might look like auditioning for a music ensemble, trialling for a sports team, or nominating yourself for a leadership position. It could mean speaking up in class when you are unsure, introducing yourself to someone new, or inviting a peer to sit with you so they do not feel alone. These small but significant actions build confidence, resilience, and character over time.
In 2026, we encourage students to choose growth over comfort and courage over fear. By embracing challenges and seizing opportunities, each member of the school community has the chance to make this year one defined by bravery, connection, and personal achievement.
The Senior cohort looks forward to seeing students challenge themselves, support one another, and make 2026 a year to be proud of.
