Captains' Corner

Pal'entine's Day
Last Friday, our school was buzzing with energy as we celebrated Pal'estine's Day, and it was such a fun way to finish the week! As Henderson House Captains, we loved seeing everyone get involved and bring such great vibes to the day.
To get into the spirit, everyone was encouraged to wear red accessories. From red ribbons and scrunchies to socks, ties and even bright red sunglasses, there was colour everywhere you looked. It was awesome to see students from all year levels showcasing their creativity and exploring the theme.
The highlight of the day was definitely our bake sale, which we ran to raise money for MS Australia. There were homemade cupcakes, brownies, and cookies! Everyone was excited to grab a treat while supporting a good cause. It was great to see everyone enjoying the food while also knowing that every gold coin was going towards something meaningful.
Most importantly, Pal'entine's Day wasn’t just about wearing red or eating sweets. It was about friendship, kindness and coming together as a community. Supporting MS Australia reminded us that we can have fun while also making a positive impact.
