Doubles Success at the 2026 O3K Samford Open Championships

Iris O’Donnell (Year 8) delivered a standout performance at the 2026 O3K Samford Open Championships, progressing confidently through the draw to reach the Womens’ Doubles Final and finishing the tournament on a high.

Teaming up with doubles partner, the second-seeded pair showcased sharp court awareness, decisive net play and composed shot selection to claim the Doubles Championship title. Their synergy under pressure proved the difference in a tightly contested final, capping off an impressive campaign.

Also representing Clayfield College with distinction was Lily McManus (Year 11) and her doubles partner, competing strongly in the Doubles 3 v 4 final. Their performance added further depth to the College’s presence at the tournament and highlighted the strength of our senior players on the competitive circuit.

Congratulations to Iris and Lily on their achievement, an outstanding reflection of commitment, partnership and competitive excellence.
