Performing Arts Excellence Evening 2025

Our inaugural Performing Arts Excellence Evening was a wonderful celebration of creativity, leadership, and achievement across our College productions and programs. It was a joy to recognise students, staff, and community members who have contributed to another exceptional year in the Performing Arts at EMC.

9 to 5: The Musical – Production Awards:

Production Crew Excellence Award – Luca Whitley: Recognised for professionalism and commitment backstage. 

Ensemble Excellence Award – Ikumi West: Honoured for consistent commitment and strong performance. 

Choreographer’s Award for Excellence in Dance – Maddy Gallagher: Awarded for precision, artistry, and dedication. 

Music Director’s Award – Alby Bray: Celebrated for musicianship and professionalism in the orchestra. 

Production Positive Impact Award – Sophie Lovisa: Acknowledged for positivity, reliability, and strong support of the cast. 

Director’s Award for Excellence in a Principal Role – Murphy Schmidt: Presented for outstanding character development and performance growth. 

Performing Arts Program Awards:

Community Contribution Award – Jen Hitchman: Recognised for ongoing dedication and support of the Performing Arts program. 

Performing Arts Leadership in Action Award – Chelsea Carroll: Awarded for leadership, teamwork, and encouragement. 

Performing Arts Excellence Award – Lily Buckley: Celebrated for exceptional skill, growth, and commitment. 

Dedication & Contribution to the Arts Award – JJ Robinson: Honoured for reliability, generosity, and consistent support behind the scenes. 

Middle School Production – High School Musical JR Student Leaders:

We were proud to recognise the outstanding leadership of Tyler Hopley, Emany Carroll, Billie Tweddle, Darcy Wilkie, Jordyn Callahan, Shayla Swift, Zhara Kelly, and Mia Jones, each acknowledged for their reliability, initiative, and contribution to the success of the production.
