Principal's News

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to all of our new students and their families for the 2026 school year. Welcome to the Sacred Heart School community. We have 81 new students beginning with us this year. 65 new Foundation students have begun their educational journey at Sacred Heart, and 16 students have joined us at other levels across the school. We hope they enjoy their time at Sacred Heart, make new friends, embrace challenges, and learn many interesting things. We also welcome Pauline Arnold, Josh Frederick, Chloe Grist and Josh Garner to our teaching team. We also welcome Bradey Fratantoro, Charlie Seuren and Lily Fountain as trainees for this year.

I am very mindful that the start of the year has also brought challenging circumstances for some families due to the fires in the Otway Ranges. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted, and I thank our staff and families for the care and understanding they continue to show one another. I also extend our sincere gratitude to emergency services personnel for their tireless work during this difficult time. Please continue to stay safe and look out for one another.

This newsletter will provide information about our school procedures and expectations and will be sent weekly. 

I would like to wish all our staff, students, families and friends all the best for the year ahead. I hope it is a year full of learning, challenges, fun and friendship.  A year where we can work together as partners in a school community to pursue fullness of life for all.
