Principal's Report
Kaylene Kubeil
We have had a wonderful start to this year, and Week 2 has been no exception. I am very lucky to have the privilege of walking around the school and visiting both classroom and specialist lessons, and it is so pleasing to see the students fully engaged in their learning and the teachers able to enjoy this process as well.

I am also happy to update everyone on the Technology/Foundation office and Foundation toilets, which have been refurbished after being in need of an update since mid-last year. The toilets have had new flooring installed, along with additional sealing to prevent future damage. With just a few final paint touches to complete, we are very pleased with the result. We cannot wait for the area to be fully operational for both staff and students.
Welcome to our new canteen providers, who have had a very positive start to their tenure at our school. The students are enjoying some of the new (and very healthy) options now available to them either as a lunch order or over the counter.

Next week, we are expecting another lift to be installed at the Plover Way end of the school (to support our Year 3/4 classrooms). This second lift is part of our ongoing accessibility grant upgrade, which continues to provide the school with more options for members of our school community with a range of accessibility needs.

Lastly, we have commenced initial work to update the front retaining wall of the school, which, at the request of the local council, needs to be remodelled. We have also just begun initial work on our front corner cubby house to upgrade it and make it suitable for our students to use and enjoy.

More information will be provided in the near future regarding school council membership and vacancies for 2026.
