Spirit Week - Next Week! 

In the final week of Term 3, Mount Alvernia College comes alive with Spirit Week – a much-loved tradition where students celebrate the true spirit of Mt A.

Led by our 2025 College Captains, with the Spirit Captain at the helm, this week is all about fun, friendship, and community. We can’t wait to see everyone getting involved to make this the best Spirit Week yet!

✨ Here’s what’s happening each day:

Monday 15 September – Sports Day

Kick off the week by repping your favourite sports team! Jerseys, hats, scarves – show your team pride.

Break 1 Activity: Sports-themed trivia in the iCentre.

Tuesday 16 September – Texas Tuesday

YEEHAW! Saddle up in your best cowgirl or cowboy look – think flannel, boots, hats and rodeo vibes.

Break 1 Activity: Hobby horsing competition on the Oval.

Wednesday 17 September – Wacky Wednesday

Go wild with crazy hair and funky socks – the brighter, the better!

Break 1 Activity: Just Dance in the San Dam.

Thursday 18 September – Decades Day

Throw it back to your favourite era! Rock the 90s, groove through the 80s, or go retro with 70s flair.

Break 1 Activity: Silent Disco in the iCentre.

Students must arrive and depart in full College formal uniform. All costume items are to be put on after arriving at school and removed before leaving.
