Welcome back to another edition of the Admin Corner!
In this edition, we highlight the importance of keeping your family details up to date and provide information about our policy on photography, filming, and recording of students.
If you have recently moved, changed your phone number, or updated your email address, please inform both your child’s class teacher and the office staff. Keeping your details current ensures that teachers, the school nurse, or other staff can contact you when needed. An Amendment to Family Data Form is attached and is also available from the office, or you can email us directly at glen.waverley.ps@education.vic.gov.au.
To ensure the health and safety of our school community, we are reviewing student immunisation records. We have noticed that some records are either outdated or missing. If you need to update your child's immunisation records or obtain a new Medicare Immunisation History Statement, please contact the relevant authorities listed below and forward a copy to the office.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school safe.

We have recently distributed a Photographing, Filming and Recording Students at GWPS consent form.
Our Photographing, Filming and Recording Students Policy describes’ how we collect and use photographs, video and recordings of students. The policy also explains when parent consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn.
Further information about how Glen Waverley Primary School collects and uses photos, video and recordings of students is available in our Photographing, Filming and Recording Students Policy https://www.glenps.vic.edu.au/source/Photographing-filming-recording-students-policy-February%202024%20(1).pdf.
Please read the Photography, Filming and Recording Students policy and return the consent form to your child’s classroom teacher.
Our office is always here to assist you with any questions, feel free to come see us between the hours of 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
Warm Regards
