On Tuesday, the 2nd of September, we hosted our Instrumental Music Soiree where we showcased a range of music from ABBA to Jackson 5, as well as classical pieces too. It was lots of fun and great to see so many students expressing their passion with their friends and families. As Performing Arts Captain, I hosted the evening - as I have done for all of them this year - and it was amazing to get to represent the Arts here at Beaumaris for the second-last time.
On Tuesday, the 9th of September, we hosted an Ensembles Concert, again showcasing a range of music from the music groups here at Beaumaris Secondary College. It was awesome to see so many students playing their instruments with passion. As Arts Captain I hosted yet again - this being my last. It was a great night, and to any students reading this, learn an instrument, you won't regret it.
On Wednesday, the 10th of September, students from BSC went to Beaumaris Primary School for their arts day to showcase the arts here at Beaumaris Secondary College. The Orange Band performed for the students and the drama students taught the primary school students some drama games. It was lots of fun and we hope to do it again next year.
