Do you collect anything?

Yes, I collect running shoes. I have so many, but that’s because I use them so often. I probably have about 30 pairs all up.

If you could choose to be anything for a day, what would it be?

I’ve always wanted to be an eagle because I’ve always wanted to fly. I want to have that feeling of soaring through trees, across the sky or over the ocean.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

It’d have to be ribs—pork ribs, marinated or honey garlic—or chicken wings, like BBQ or buffalo wings.

If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?

Central America. I’ve done a big trip though South America, but I’ve always wanted to travel through central America to visit the beaches and nice country towns.

What do you love most about Beaumaris?

While our buildings and grounds are beautiful, what makes Beaumaris special is our people. They care for each other, and with so many unique, caring individuals, it’s our people who make this place what it is.

What would you sing at karaoke night?

It’s a hard question. My style of music is Rüfüs Du Sol, MGMT, Empire of the Sun, but their music is very hard to sing. Maybe something like Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody—it's an absolute classic, and I’ve taught myself how to play it on piano! So maybe I could play and sing along.

Thanks, Mr Leith!
