Year Level Captain's Report

Hello, Beaumaris Secondary College community.

As Term 3 begins to wrap up and the holidays are approaching, I hope everyone is getting ready for a much-needed break to get ready for the term ahead. The term feels like it has flown by with all the things that happened.

On Monday the 25th of August, the Student Leadership Conference took place. It was an opportunity for us to plan what we still wanted to do in the second half of the year. All the student leaders from Beaumaris Secondary College attended, along with some captains from Beaumaris and Beaumaris North Primary Schools.

On the 1st of September, there was a student-free day. Not a big event, but I am sure it was enjoyed by the students. It was a good way to take a quick break and relax.

Coming up are Divisional Athletics and Connor’s Run. Congratulations to everyone who made it to Divisional Athletics, and good luck! These are great opportunities to show athletic skill, and in the case of Connor’s Run, to support a good cause.

Most subjects are now finishing off their PBLs. Hopefully students feel a sense of accomplishment once they are finished.

I hope you have a nice holiday and a relaxing last week of term.
