Athletics Day

It was with great disappointment that we had to cancel the St Luke’s Athletics Day due to wet weather. Unfortunately, the conditions made it impossible to safely run any part of the event.

Term 4 is already a busy time, and with the athletics track heavily booked in advance, rescheduling has proven difficult. We want to thank all students and staff for their positive support—it’s a clear sign that Athletics Day is a valued event in our school calendar. We look forward to bringing it back in 2026!

After the holidays, our focus shifts to Interschool Athletics, where students will have the opportunity to compete against peers from other schools. Key dates are:

· Tuesday 7th October – Grade 6

· Wednesday 8th October – Grade 5

· Thursday 9th October – Grade 4

· Friday 10th October – Grade 3

** If there is wet weather, that day will be moved to Friday and will be communicated to families via PAM. This could mean the Grade 3’s will unfortunately miss their day **

We wish all our students the best of luck and look forward to supporting those that attend.

Grade 6 vs Staff Netball Game

Our annual Grade 6 vs Staff netball match was played in great spirit, with plenty of enthusiastic support from students cheering on the sidelines. The staff team took the honours this year, but not without a strong and competitive effort from our Grade 6s.

A big thank you to all the students who played and to the staff who eagerly put their hands up to form a team. It was a fun and memorable event, and a fantastic way to celebrate the end of term with our senior students.

We look forward to playing the Grade 6’s in another challenge in Term 4.
