French Exchange

In just under a month 11 students from Nossal are going to spend 17 days in France! 

We will be spending 10 days with a host family in the region of Brittany, enjoying immersing ourselves in the French language and culture and exploring local landmarks.

After that we spend five days in Paris! 

Spending our time visiting iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Palace of

Versailles.  

Personally, I am very excited to meet my host family and explore different and new things like the local French cuisine and sights such as the beaches! 

Speaking to my host student online has made me feel excited to meet them and practise my (terrible) French with them!

Bonjour bonjour! 

French Model UN

During the second week of Term 3, 16 VCE French students represented Nossal at the French Model UN in North Melbourne.

Participating as the USA, South Korea, Ireland and Madagascar, we presented our countries' point of view on the issues of Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights. We also debated and formed alliances with other countries in order to get our amendments to the resolution passed (all in French of course!) 

It was a very exciting experience, right from researching about our countries all the way up until the final votes to pass the resolution and allowed us to interact with other students our age who are also learning French!"
