Nossal Bollywood Club

On Saturday 2 August, Nossal’s Bollywood Club had the incredible opportunity to participate in an interschool Bollywood dance competition, going head-to-head with talented teams from schools such as MacRobertson Girls High School, Suzanne Cory High School, John Monash Science School, Bacchus Marsh Grammar, and more. 

In the lead-up to the competition, our team spent countless hours rehearsing with waking up early for morning practices, staying late after school, and perfecting our six dances. The effort, though exhausting, was absolutely worth it when we saw all the performances come together on the day. The experience of choreographing together and supporting each other brought the club closer not only as a school, but as a team.

Although MacRobertson Girls High School took home the trophy this year, we are already working on something even bigger and better for next year and we are more determined than ever to reclaim our title as champions! A huge thank you goes to our Bollywood leaders (Guneet, Mehar, Nadini, Mischa, and Tanushree) as well as to Ms. Guruparan for her constant support to participate in the competition. We'll be sure to come back better next year! Go Nossal!
