Year 12 Ball - Public Viewing

In anticipation of the Year 12 Ball, the TC community is warmly invited to the annual Public Viewing the night before the event! For a gold coin donation, this special preview will give visitors an opportunity to see the amazing transformation of college facilities into iconic scenes from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, in keeping with this year’s theme of ‘Chart your Own Course’.

Please Note:

Strictly no photography/videography or social media is permitted during the Public Viewing, in order to maintain the element of surprise for the Year 12 students and their guests.

Newsies

Tickets on sale now!

We would like to invite you to Trinity College’s production of Newsies, from Thursday 1 May to Saturday 3 May 2025. Set in the bustling streets of 1899 New York City, Newsies is a tale of resilience, courage, and the power of collective action, conveyed through dynamic music and exhilarating choreography.

This production is a testament to the power of collaboration. Co-produced by Dr Robert Braham, Mrs Paula Nicoletto, and Ms Abigail Acton, our combined knowledge and experience has been invaluable in shaping this ambitious and vibrant show. Our creative vision and dedication have elevated this production, and it has been a privilege to collaborate with each other.

We would also like to acknowledge the hard work and determination of our incredibly talented cast and crew, whose passion has brought this heartwarming story to life. The journey has been one filled with learning, laughter, and creative triumphs, all culminating in the performance you are about to witness.

TC Family Night Under the Stars

Students and their families are invited to the TC Family Night Under the Stars! We have an amazing astronomy program at Trinity College, and a great observatory that our students can use to take images of the deep sky and learn about the universe we live in.

On Wednesday 30 April, we will once again host volunteers from the Perth Observatory who will bring telescopes to show us close-up views of planets and stars within our solar system.

Families can arrive at their leisure/convenience from 6.00pm, to sit out on Mann Oval and enjoy a BYO picnic while the sun goes down. The viewing will begin at approximately 7.00pm (when it is dark enough).

  • Date: Wednesday, 30 April
  • Time: 6.00pm - 9.00pm
    • 6.00pm - 7.00pm: casual BYO picnic (arrive at your leisure/convenience)
    • 7.00pm - 9.00pm: astronomy demonstrations and viewings
  • Venue: Mann Oval, Trinity College
  • Cost: $5pp (excl booking fees); free for children aged 6 years or younger
  • Other info:
    • Guests are welcome to bring their own telescopes and/or binoculars to view the stars.
    • We hope to offer some options for light refreshments on-the-night; more information to be provided as it is confirmed.
    • As this event is weather-dependent, any decisions regarding postponement will be made the week prior to the event. Should this event need to be postponed, ticket buyers will be notified and refunded.

The Resilience Project - Authentic Connection for Parents and Carers

WEBINAR

Join Hugh van Cuylenburg from The Resilience Project for their inspiring online presentation, ‘Authentic Connection’.

The biggest impact happens when we work together. This one hour session combines cutting edge research with candid storytelling to help parents and carers understand the benefits of letting go of shame, perfection, ego and control. It then shares the same evidence-based strategies being taught in your classrooms so they can be practised at home (and beyond!).

Designed for parents and carers, this session features engaging stories and practical strategies to help you:

  • Embrace vulnerability, imperfection, and passion to build stronger, more meaningful connections.

  • Experience the positive benefits connection has in your personal and professional life.

Don’t miss this opportunity to reflect and gain tools to enhance your wellbeing and relationships.

  • Date: Tuesday, 6 May
  • Times: 6.00pm – 7.00pm WA time (note: the registration page will state the AEST timings)
  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Cost: Free

  • Audience: Suitable for all parents/guardians (any Year Levels)

  • Presenter: Hugh van Cuylenburg, Founding Director & Facilitator, The Resilience Project
  • Other info: This webinar will be accessible to other schools around the country
  • Register: Click the button below

NOTE: This is a LIVE WEBINAR, not a recording. It is the prerogative of the event organisers to decide whether to release a recording of the webinar.
