Performing Arts Update

It’s been another busy week in the Performing Arts department. Last week saw our Jazz Ensemble perform at the Victorian School Music Festival (on the same night as the Matilda’s game against England!). They have worked so hard over the last couple of weeks and were thrilled to come away with a Silver Plaque.

Our next group to perform at the Victorian School Music Festival will be Concert Band on Wednesday 30th August.

Chinese Instrument Program

The Chinese Instrument Program officially started this week, with students receiving their first lesson and getting to take their new instruments home. Our Chinese Instrument Orchestra is actually starting up this Friday (25 August), with rehearsals going from 3:30 – 4:30pm.
