From your Captains...

As school captains, we have been working closely during SRC meetings to support the student voice and make positive changes to our school. 

Recently, we have reviewed the uniform policy and gathered feedback to ensure it reflects both comfort and practicality while maintaining school standards. After reflecting on our previous policy and with upcoming changes from the government to be in place next year, students are permitted to wear logo-less navy pants or shorts, rather than the EC embroidered pants and shorts sold at school. No leggings are permitted as the outer garment. This increases the affordability of school uniforms, keeps students looking their best and representing our school with pride, whilst also ensuring students are comfortable in their daily clothing. 

We have also been discussing new ways to improve our fortnightly assemblies, focusing on the interactivity and inclusivity of our school.
