Backpack 4 Kids Donation Drive
Our "Backpacks 4 Vic Kids" initiative has commenced! This registered not-for-profit organisation is dedicated to helping children facing unexpected relocations, often with only the clothes on their backs. In the coming weeks we hope to make a significant impact on the lives of these young individuals by collecting and sorting packs to help fill an order of over 200 for Indigenous students in out of home care.
About BackPacks 4 Vic Kids
Backpacks 4 Vic Kids operates six unique programs designed to support children in crisis situations. Their primary goal is to provide comfort, ease anxiety, and restore dignity by delivering crisis packs and gift packs to vulnerable children aged from birth to 17 years.
How Can You Help?
To contribute to this meaningful cause, we are organising a school-wide donation drive. We are seeking the following items to fill the backpacks for Kindergarten and Grade 1 Students. There is an especially high level of need for the Backpack Items.

- Drink bottles
- Key rings
- Art smocks
- Sun hats (black, navy, green, maroon)
- Hair ties
- Socks
- Small sunscreen
- Scrapbooks
- Display books
- Rulers
- Grey lead pencils
- Sharpeners
- Erasers
- 12-set coloured pencils
- 6-set crayons
We invite every student, teacher, and staff member to contribute to our donation drive. Your generosity will go a long way in ensuring that these backpacks are filled with essential items that can bring joy and comfort to children facing challenging times.
Collection Point
Donation collection points will be set up in reception starting Thursday 23 November, and we encourage everyone to drop off their contributions by 9am Wednesday 29 November. Look for the specially marked bins or boxes in the school foyer.
