Athletics Carnival

Late last week, the school athletics carnival came to a successful close with the running of the high jump. Following its completion, we are pleased to congratulate all the students who achieved a place in their respective events. A very special mention must go to Thibaud, who broke the Junior Boys High Jump School Record by an incredible 13cm with a massive jump of 1.24m!

Once again, congratulations to the Oxley (Blue) House on their overall victory at the athletics carnival last Wednesday and Friday—all Blue team members should feel a great sense of pride in their achievements. Following a final review of the results, we are also thrilled to announce that 24 students have officially qualified to represent St Patrick's Primary at the Armidale Catholic Schools Athletics Carnival in Tamworth on the 5th of August.

Congratulations to the following students who will be representing St Patrick's Primary: Benji, Shaun, Rebee, Josie, Airlee, Phoebe, Lucy, Will, Harriet, Audrey, Mila, Eve, Archer, Oscar, Levi, Archie, Mckenzie, Harper, Jack P, Angus, Harry M, Harry K, Tallulah and Thibaud.

St Patrick's Primary Sports Handbook

St Patrick's now has an official sports handbook, which has recently been updated following our school swimming carnival. Additionally, the handbook has now been revised to include the new records set by Josie, Lucy, Phoebe and Thibaud at our recent athletics carnival. This book is designed to give all members of our school community a clearer understanding of when our various sporting carnivals are conducted. It also outlines the processes and qualifying times required for students wishing to represent our school at Diocesan sporting events, alongside an explanation of the representative sporting pathways your child can undertake in their respective sports.
