GENERAL ACHIEVEMENT TEST (GAT)

GAT 2026

The General Achievement Test (GAT) is an important part of the VCE assessment program and will be held on Tuesday, 16th June, 2026. 

The GAT is compulsory for all Year 12 students and all Year 11 students enrolled in a Unit 3&4 VCE or VCE VET subject.  All students have been given the information booklet which you can also find on Compass and below. 

On the day of the GAT, there will be no Year 12 classes running and students are permitted to wear comfortable, school-appropriate casual clothes. The GAT will be held in two sections, both being completed in the Lecture Theatre.  Students are encouraged to take the GAT seriously and do their personal best.  Please ensure students have all the required materials and arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the exam.
