Jazz Night

Last Wednesday, the Music Department relished a great Gatsby-styled set up for the annual Jazz Night. And what a night of music it was! A truly spectacular celebration of the students' vocal and instrumental talent. I would like to congratulate all of the students who performed on the night. It was also a privilege to have the Mina Yu trio join us again this year. 

I would like to thank the Creative Arts Auxiliary for their hard work on the night, especially Co-Presidents Jaci Barret and Jane Pender. A special thank you goes to the staff and parents who attended — it is always such a treat for our students to perform to a full house.

Flute Ensemble

We congratulate the Barbreck Flutes and 7/8 Flute Ensemble for their recent performance at the Victorian Flute Guild Eisteddfod on Sunday 31 May. Both groups placed 3rd in their respective sections.

Ruth Langley Luncheon performances

Congratulations to Camilla A and Lucy L for performing at the Ruth Langley Luncheon on Friday 29 May. Both awe-inspiring performances!

Upcoming events

Music Gala Rehearsal Day – Monday 20 July 

Ensemble rehearsal day in preparation for Music Gala. The ensembles rehearsing on the day will be confirmed in the coming week.

Music Camp – Friday 31 July/Saturday 1 August 

We are heading back to the Oasis Campsite, a Consent2Go has already been sent out.
