SVdP Winter Appeal

Our 2025 Vinnies Winter Appeal is well underway. The theme this year is 'No one chooses to be homeless'. The below flyer details the snack pack items we will collect over the next two weeks by Year level. Thank you to all families who have already donated so generously. Keep those donations coming in. If you are unable to donate items, and would prefer to make a cash donation, please see the school office. This will also assist us in buying items we may be short on to create the snack packs. I am looking for parents/carers who may have some time to assist packaging the snack packs on Tuesday 1st July 2025 between 2pm and 3pm. If you are free and can assist, please email me direct at lucille.gravina@syd.catholic.edu.au

Sydney Vinnies Brekky Van - Sunday 15 June 2025

A brisk Sunday Brekky Van on 15th June, with two new volunteers learning the ropes and a new driver too. Thanks to the team who helped serve the cold breakfast and cook and serve the hot breakfast. This is such rewarding volunteer work. If you would like to register to join the team (many hands make light work), please send me an email at lucille.gravina@syd.catholic.edu.au

Pope Francis - Blanket Making

Yesterday our Pope Francis students gave up their lunchtime to work together to make a no-sew blanket to donate to St Vincent de Paul. A second blanket will be made next week. These blankets will be collected by Vinnies  in Week 10 together with the snack packs.

Jubilee of Families, Children, Grandparents and the Elderly

During the last fortnight, we celebrated the Jubilee of Families, Children, Grandparents and the Elderly. The Koumekelis Family led us in Monday morning prayer and our Kindergarten students visited Little Sisters of the Poor to read to the residents and sing songs.
