Message from the Principal

St Anthony’s Parish and St Anthony’s School hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibilities of the Church.

St Anthony’s is fully compliant with all policies in relation to Child Safety. These documents ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Child Safety Standards which took effect on 1 January 2017 and reflect our Parish's ongoing commitment to ensuring that all children are safe, happy and empowered.

Dear Families and Friends,

Welcome to Term Three!

We have an exciting term ahead, filled with learning and many fun filled events.

St Anthony's Sketchnote

After much consultation with students, parents and staff I am proud to present and share our new sketchnote that represents all things St Anthony's. The images have been created by students and all digitally put together using a digital platform.

You'll notice that our mantra of "Every person flourishing and known", we work on forming lives to enrich the world, aligning our work with the MACS (Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools) 2030 vision.

Athletics Day

Last Friday, 26th July, we had our whole school athletics carnival. The day started with an opening ceremony lead by our student leaders and then commenced the track and field events. There was an excellent display of fairness, competitiveness and respect by all students who participated! A big thank you to Mr Harisiou and Josh for all their amazing work planning and preparing for the day. Thank you to all staff who enable the smooth running of the day and thank you to all parents and friends for joining us.

State Government Grant for School Upgrades

Dozens of low-fee Victorian Catholic schools will receive millions of dollars in funding by the state government to upgrade classrooms and build new facilities.

Premier Jacinta Allan and Education Minister Ben Carroll announced 67 projects at 65 Catholic schools across Victoria, which will share in more than $243m to expand and modernise existing facilities or build new schools.

I am very proud to announce that St Anthony's has received one of the grants!

Prep Enrolments for 2025 & Families Leaving St Anthony's

We are working on finalising class numbers for 2025. If you know any families wanting to join St Anthony's please let them know that now is the time to visit the office to collect an enrolment pack.

If your family is not returning in 2025, please inform the office.

Carpark and Road Safety

When dropping children off in the morning please either use the kiss and drop on Alfred St or park your car in the church carpark. The church carpark is not to be used as a kiss and drop, families must ark their cars in a correct car parking space!

Thank you for working in partnership with us, safety is everyone's responsibility.
