What's on in the Community Hub?

Dental Screening

You should have received information about Monash Dental Health Service visiting St Anthony’s on August 22, 2024.  If you would like your child to take part in the dental screening please complete the form as soon as possible.  Please come to the school office if you require a form.

We have had a very busy start to Term 3 in the Community Hub with playgroup up and running as well as our English and Computer adult learning programs.

Playgroup

This term we will be delivering the Let’s Read Program in playgroup.  Let’s Read is a national, evidence-based early literacy initiative that promotes reading with children from birth to five years. 

Next week the City of Greater Dandenong Library will be visiting playgroup.  Librarians introduce their service to families, provide borrowing and returning opportunities onsite and story time for everyone to enjoy.  We are fortunate to have this service at our playgroup which is offered each month.

Adult Learning Programs

We have some vacancies in our beginner computer program on Tuesday mornings and English program for adults on Fridays.  If you are interested in either of these please contact either Debbie or Lisa on 9546 0044.

Seniors Computer Class - Tuesday 9.30am-11.30am

English Class (online) - 9.30am - 11.30am

Beginners Computer Class - Wednesday 1pm-3pm

English Class - 9.30am - 1.30pm 

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club continues to be very busy three days a week with approximately 60 students attending each day.  Chobani are continuing to donate yoghurt and local parishioners are donating bread from Aldi stores.
