Principal's Message
Mrs Kylie Bryant - Principal
As we reach the end of Term 1, I want to take this opportunity to thank our students, staff and community for the positive start to the school year. The classrooms have been buzzing with learning, our students have embraced new challenges, and staff have continued to show tremendous dedication to providing not only a nurturing classroom environment, but also high quality teaching and learning programs that meet your child at their point of need.
This term has seen a range of engaging activities, from our regular and special assemblies to swimming and cross country carnivals, Harmony Day celebrations, as well as P&C events and Band Camp. It has been wonderful to witness our students building friendships, showing kindness, aspiring to do their best and embracing new challenges.
Thank you to all parents and carers for your ongoing support—whether through volunteering, attending school events, or supporting your children at home. Your involvement is greatly valued and makes a real difference. Last week I met with our new Community Connectors who will be establishing the Stage and Cultural Connector groups this week. If you have already signed up, there is nothing to do other than look out for your invitation to join the group. If you have not joined one of these groups, please complete the form here and we will arrange for your details to be shared.
Our final event for Term 1 is our annual Easter Hat Parade. An exciting event for our youngest students and this year we are asking all families to make Easter Hats with their children at home. We are looking forward to seeing all the wonderful creations. To get our older students more involved, we are holding a Crazy Hair Day for Years 3-6. There will be a prize for the best hat and hair style for each grade. The Easter Hat Parade is being held in the COLA on Thursday at 9.15am. The P&C Easter Raffle will also be drawn at this time so make sure you buy some tickets! I do hope you can join us!
As we head into the autumn break, I wish everyone a safe and relaxing holiday. Term 2 promises more exciting opportunities, including athletics, student leadership initiatives, and continued learning adventures.
Looking ahead, we have several exciting events where families can #getinvolvedatRoselea
I look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for another successful term.
