Gloves On!
Year 3 gloved up and ready to go!
On Wednesday the 4th, Thursday the 5th and Friday the 6th of March, our school proudly took part in Schools Clean Up Day. This year the event was spread across three days so more students could get involved.
Students eagerly brought their reusable gloves and worked together to clean different areas around the school. It was fantastic to see so many students showing care and pride for our school environment.
The initiative helps students understand the importance of looking after our school and community while building positive habits that support a healthier planet. It also celebrated the great efforts students have already made this year, such as keeping food packaging in designated eating areas and limiting food taken into the playground.
A big congratulations to our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 students who participated. Your teamwork and enthusiasm helped make our school a cleaner and healthier place for everyone!
Thank you also to our parents for helping students come prepared for their clean up sessions, Andrea for lending us cleaning resources and to our teachers for supporting and championing this important initiative. Your support helps make activities like this a success.
