Something I stumbled upon recently was an interviewer in the UK who asks people who are visiting galleries “if you could own any piece of art, what would it be and why?” – such a good question! I’ve been thinking and trying to decide but until then, I asked our staff the same question and will bring you their answers each edition!

Mrs Edwards: I would love to have Yayoi Kusama’s infinity room! This is my favourite artwork because of the vibrant reflective colours that make you feel like you are in a parallel kaleidoscopic world.

Mrs Dudhwala: The Starry Night by Van Gogh. I remember standing in front of this painting at the Museum of Modern Art in New York with my cousin and I was just overwhelmed by its beauty. I bought a replica from the gift shop and kept it in my room to remind me that there is so much beauty all around the world… when we make the time to find it!
