Jack's Letterbox

"Guess the number of eggs in the letterbox!

You will notice that Jack's Letterbox in filled with Easter eggs.

Please take a guess as to how many eggs there are, and the closest guess will win the eggs to take home for Easter.

Details:

• guesses will take place during class library sessions
• 1 guess per child, if they'd like to participate
• please include full name, class and how many eggs you think there are in the letterbox

The competition will close on Wednesday 1 April at 3:30pm with the winner announced Thursday 2 April.

Leila I appearing on The Piano

 Leila was chosen to participate in Season 2 of the ABC TV program "The Piano" which is a program featuring pianists from various backgrounds and with interesting stories from all over Australia. 

My family and I were all flown up to Brisbane for the filming and had a wonderful experience getting to know the details of how a TV program is made, meeting and interviewing with the host, Amanda Keller (who was really lovely), and meeting all the other pianists who took part in this episode. 

It was a wonderful opportunity to perform in front of so many people in Brisbane and to bring them happiness with my music. 

This experience really inspired me to continue working toward my dream of becoming a concert pianist in the future." 

The program can be viewed through ABC iView and that Leila's part is in Episode 2 at around the 24 minute mark.
