Playground 3 & 4 Now Open – A Wonderful Milestone for Our JSA Community

We are proud to share with our JSA community that Playgrounds 3 and 4 are now officially open and available for student use.

 

The afternoon of Tuesday 17th March was a truly wonderful moment across the school, as our students reconnected with these much-loved spaces. It was fantastic to see the joy, excitement, and engagement as students explored and enjoyed the playgrounds once again. 

 

Staff have also expressed their appreciation for the restored access between areas, which supports smoother movement and supervision across the school.

 

This milestone marks the completion of a significant 16-week project, and we would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to bringing these spaces to life.

 

In particular, we acknowledge and immensely thank:

  • and acknowledge Daniel Moloney, Dr Denise Clarke and Corinne Pupillo, who worked alongside me to bring this project to completion. I sincerely thank them for their support, leadership and oversight. What great teamwork!
  • our dedicated staff for their patience, flexibility, and ongoing support.
  • our wonderful sub-school leaders for their flexibility and alternative yard duty plans to accommodate play break times.
  • Cobolt, Rebecca and her team from VSBA, and Lyndon and Jack and their team from Brand Architects for their expertise and delivery.

  • our maintenance team, contractors, and all project stakeholders involved.

     

Your collective effort, commitment, and collaboration have been instrumental in delivering these high-quality learning and play environments for our students.

 

We are incredibly grateful to now have these wonderful playgrounds back in action and look forward to seeing our students continue to thrive in these revitalised spaces.

 

We will continue to keep you informed with updates regarding our upcoming Opening Ceremony and look forward to sharing further details in the coming months.
