Exciting Events Ahead

There are many exciting performance events to look forward to –

  • On Thursday night four of the rock bands will be participating in a regional concert at Hume Secondary College. Entitled Throw Back, the concert features music from the 80’s.

  • The choirs and a number of instrumentalists are preparing for Campus Easter services and the Come Together concert with a rehearsal day on Friday.

  • On Saturday, rock band, Radium and the Jazz Band are being filmed for an entry in the Harwyn Rocking the Nation competition.

Looking forward to Term 2 the performances continue with our first formal concert of the year, Come Together (see below)and entries in Generations in Jazz, Seussical (Season 1) and Instrumental concerts.

We wish our students well in their preparations and performances.

Come Together!

On Monday 27th April a smorgasbord of excellent and entertaining music will be presented at the Clocktower Centre in Moonee Ponds. Many of our ensembles will provide a “taster” of their 2026 repertoire. There will be a snippet of the College musical, Oliver! and ensemble leaders will emcee to provide a foreshadowing of 2026 performances.

Ticket details will be sent to participants’ families soon and information will also be available in next week’s Whispers.
