2024 Student Allowances - Secondary Assistance Scheme - Years 7 to 12
The State Government, through the Department of Education, provides financial support to eligible parents with students enrolled in Years 7 to 12 studying a full-time secondary course through the Secondary Assistance Scheme and ABSTUDY Supplement.
You may be eligible for up to $350 toward school expenses if you hold a:
- Centrelink Health Care Card, or
- Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card, or
- Veterans' Affairs Pensioner Concession Card
Links to the eligibility criteria and application forms are below. Applications can be submitted to the school after the commencement of Term 1, 2024. Applications close on 28 March 2024.
