Student Voice

Be You | 2024
The student body theme this year is "Be You". "Be You" means to embrace who you are.
As College Captains, we want to provide opportunities and create an environment where the students can grow into the type of person they want to be. Whether that means being a doctor, a sports star, or overall, a kind person, 2024 is the year to learn to love who you are and those around you.
Our vision with Be You is that we can help our peers transition into who they want to be through the school environment. We want to create an atmosphere where everyone's differences are welcomed and accepted.
We are looking forward to making our vision come to life in 2024!

Primary School Report
My name is Anja, and I am the Primary School 2024 Head Girl. I will be delivering the student leader report to you today.
I hope everyone has settled into their new classrooms and you enjoy our beautiful new campus. It's hard to believe we are already halfway through Term 1!
This week, we celebrated World Day of Prayer. Thank you to everyone for getting involved in our 'all-in prayer session' during recess. Yesterday, our Year 4-6 students participated in the swimming carnival. Well done to everyone who participated, and a huge congratulations to the overall champions.
We still have lots of fun things to look forward to in primary this term. Next Tuesday, we will have our first-ever House Spirit morning. We will play some games and practise some cheers with our House Captains, and everyone is allowed to wear their faction shirt. A message will be sent home to all parents to let them know.
In Week 8, we will celebrate Harmony Week. This will include a dress-up day where you can wear traditional cultural clothing, or the colour orange, which is the official colour of Harmony Week. More information will be provided closer to the time. Week 9 is our last week of this short term, and we will celebrate the importance of Easter before the school holidays commence on Good Friday.
Lastly, I just wanted to remind you all about our waste-free lunch initiative on Wednesdays. If you bring a lunch with no wrappers or rubbish of any kind, you will earn a token to go towards your class total. At the end of the term, we will announce which class has won the Waste-Free Warriors trophy. Let's all do our bit to look after our school and its natural environment.
