College Happenings!

World Day of Prayer

27 February was the World Day of Prayer, and here at The King’s College, staff and students came together to pray for miracles, growth and blessing to our homes and families.

The day started with our staff gathering in a special prayer session. In PC class, student prayer requests were read out, and each lesson started with a specific prayer.   Ps Michale Battersby led an  “All-In” prayer session at recess in the Primary quadrangle, and at lunchtime, the Chapel Crew led the secondary students in worship and prayer.

Thank you for praying with us and for standing in the gap for our college and nation. We are absolutely confident that our God has a plan for every student, every family and every staff member whom God has called to be a part of our amazing community.

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in harmony…”

Last term saw the final brush strokes on the first section of the shipping containers! Well done to the faithful artists who came early at 7am throughout the term to paint the flags and words for our centrepiece. This term we have begun again, working on the side panels, where the flags will be joined by paintings of some of our students. If students would like to join us painting at 7am on Tuesday mornings, please email Dr Beringer at: zoeb@tkc.wa.edu.au
